Overview

A leadership-centered education.

The Youth Leadership Academy delivers a rigorous, leadership-centered education for Grades 6–12, integrating academic excellence, leadership development, civic education, technology, financial literacy, and workforce readiness. The program prepares students for college, careers, and community leadership.

The Academy operates as part of the Leadership & Governance Academy under the institutional authority of Crown Institute.

A developmental ladder, not a checklist.

Middle School — Grades 6-8

Leadership foundations, critical thinking, civic awareness, technology, financial literacy, community service.

High School — Grades 9-10

Entrepreneurship and innovation, leadership communication, college and career exploration, technology integration, community problem solving, civic education.

Upper School — Grades 11-12

College and career readiness, dual enrollment, entrepreneurship incubator, municipal and civic leadership, internships and workforce experience, capstone leadership project.

Leadership Continuum

A pathway, not an endpoint.

Youth Leadership Academy students may continue into LGA Adult Leadership, Entrepreneur Academy, Municipal Certification, Executive Development, and Civic Governance pathways.

Certification

Youth Leadership Certification

Youth Leadership Academy participants are eligible for Youth Leadership Certification, conferred under the institutional authority of Crown Institute.
