Nonpartisan Mission

Leadership & Governance Academy ("LGA"), an initiative of Crown Institute, is a nonpartisan educational and leadership development institution. Our programming is designed to develop the institutional capacity of public servants, civic leaders, and rising generations — without preference for any political party, candidate, or campaign.

Crown Institute and Leadership & Governance Academy do not endorse candidates, political parties, or campaigns.

Areas of Programmatic Focus

LGA's programs are limited to nonpartisan, educational, and civic-development purposes, including:

• Leadership education
• Civic literacy
• Governance education
• Entrepreneurship education
• Workforce readiness
• Public service education
• Responsible AI literacy

What LGA Avoids

To preserve the institutional integrity and nonpartisan character of our programming, LGA avoids:

• Campaign language or campaign-style content
• Electioneering activity of any kind
• Partisan references in curriculum, communications, and programming
• Candidate endorsement language, direct or indirect
• Use of LGA platforms or convenings to promote any candidate or party

Participation Does Not Imply Endorsement

Public officials, candidates for office, government agencies, sponsors, foundations, universities, civic organizations, and other institutional partners may participate in LGA programming as speakers, panelists, faculty, attendees, sponsors, or partners. The participation of any individual, agency, candidate, sponsor, or institution in LGA programming does not imply endorsement of that individual, agency, candidate, sponsor, or institution by Crown Institute or Leadership & Governance Academy. Likewise, participation does not imply that the participating party endorses LGA, Crown Institute, or any other participant.

Educational and Institutional Integrity

LGA's role is to convene, educate, certify, and elevate leadership — not to advocate for any political outcome. Curriculum, faculty selection, certification standards, summit programming, and editorial content are governed by educational and institutional standards, not by political considerations.
