Event Policies
Registration, conduct, safety, accessibility, media consent, and sponsor participation policies for the Leadership, Education & Governance Summit and related LGA programming.
Summit Registration Terms
Registration for the Leadership, Education & Governance Summit and related LGA events opens through official channels operated by Leadership & Governance Academy. Each registration is non-transferable unless expressly authorized in writing by LGA. Submission of a registration does not constitute LGA's confirmation of attendance; confirmation will be issued through official LGA communications.
Ticketing
Specific ticket types, tiers, and pricing for the Summit will be published in advance of the registration window. Final ticketing, refund, and venue policies will be published before registration opens. Until registration opens, all references to ticketing on the LGA website are placeholders subject to confirmation.
Refund Policy
Refund and cancellation terms will be published with the official registration window. As a general matter, registration fees are intended to support the planning and operation of the Summit and may be non-refundable after a published cutoff date. Refund eligibility (if any), processing fees, and timelines will be clearly disclosed at the point of registration.
Schedule, Speakers, Venue, and Dates
Summit schedule, agenda, tracks, faculty, speakers, panelists, certification components, venue, and dates are subject to change at the discretion of LGA. While LGA endeavors to provide timely notice of material changes, registrants understand that adjustments may be necessary in the ordinary course of planning a multi-day institutional convening.
Code of Conduct
All Summit attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the institutional standards of LGA and Crown Institute. LGA does not tolerate harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive conduct. Participants are expected to engage one another with professionalism, civility, and respect for the educational mission of the Summit. LGA reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is inconsistent with these standards, without refund.
Media, Photography, and Video Consent
The Summit and related LGA programs may be photographed, video-recorded, and live-streamed for institutional, educational, archival, press, and promotional purposes. By attending, participating, or speaking at LGA programming, you grant LGA and Crown Institute a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use your name, voice, likeness, image, and institutional affiliation in such materials. Attendees who wish to opt out of identifiable imagery may notify LGA in writing prior to or during the event; reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such requests.
Sponsor Participation Terms
Sponsor participation is governed by the specific sponsorship agreement entered into between the sponsor and LGA. Sponsor benefits, exhibit terms, branding placement, recognition language, and any other obligations are defined in that agreement. Sponsor presence does not constitute an endorsement of any candidate, party, agency, or commercial product by LGA or Crown Institute.
Attendee Conduct
Attendees agree to follow all venue rules, on-site signage, and instructions from LGA staff and the venue's security personnel. Attendees are responsible for their own belongings during the event and for compliance with all applicable laws and venue regulations.
Safety and Security
LGA takes reasonable measures to support a safe and orderly event environment in cooperation with the host venue and local authorities. Attendees are responsible for their own personal safety, including reporting any concerns to LGA staff or venue personnel promptly. LGA reserves the right to deny entry or remove individuals who pose a safety, security, or institutional concern.
Accessibility Accommodations
LGA is committed to making its events accessible to participants with disabilities. Attendees who require accommodations are invited to notify LGA in advance through the contact form so that reasonable arrangements can be made. See our Accessibility Statement for additional information.
Certification Participation
Certain Summit components are integrated with LGA certification pathways. Participation in these components requires advance enrollment in the relevant certification program and adherence to its published requirements. Attendance at a Summit session alone does not, by itself, confer a credential, certificate, or recognition. Certification outcomes are governed by the participation rules of the specific LGA program.
Force Majeure
LGA shall not be liable for failure to perform or delay in performance of any event obligation due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, public-health events, governmental orders, venue unavailability, utility outages, or acts of force majeure. In such cases, LGA will make reasonable efforts to reschedule, relocate, or restructure programming.
