Leadership & Governance Academy ("LGA"), an initiative of Crown Institute, is committed to safeguarding the information shared with us by attendees, sponsors, educators, municipal partners, students, members of the press, and members of the public. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, how it is retained, and the rights available to individuals who interact with our website and programming.
Leadership & Governance Academy does not sell personal information.
Information We Collect
We collect information only when an individual voluntarily provides it through:
- Newsletter and Leadership Briefing signups
- Sponsor and partnership inquiries
- Summit waitlist and event interest forms
- Certification interest forms
- Academy interest forms (Youth, Entrepreneur, Executive, Civic)
- Media and press inquiries
- General contact forms
- Speaker and faculty interest submissions
Typical fields include name, organization, role, email, optional phone number, and any message the individual chooses to share. Sponsor and partnership inquiries may include additional organizational context. We do not request sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers or government identification) through web forms.
How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries and route them to the appropriate team member.
- To deliver newsletters, summit announcements, and institutional updates that the individual has requested.
- To inform individuals of relevant programming, certification cohorts, and partnership opportunities.

Subscribers may unsubscribe from any LGA mailing at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails, or by contacting us directly. We honor opt-out requests promptly.

Certain LGA programs (including the Youth Leadership Academy) involve students who are minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online without appropriate consent.
